It is aimed to establish „biocampus“ as headquarter of science in the field of renewable resources. The masterplan displays an urban development matrix in which fields like industry, service, research and production can be used dependent on the predominant market situation. Within this compact site the use of 2-4 story buildings is expedient. All buildings within the “BioCubator” are protected from the weather by pergola-like structures which are covered by a transparent membrane. All setup intensive construction stages are summarized in the access area of the BioCubator. This helps to keep all other surfaces of the buildings free from installations. The 15 m deep construction body as a multi-purpose concept leaves space for flexible office and laboratory interior design in between 20 and 400 m². The rooms are later offered as refined body shells.
